The facts without the fluff
This cozy retreat is just a minute's walk from beautiful Playa Norte. The staff was cute, providing luggage storage . Enjoying complimentary breakfast with an ocean view is a highlight. It might not have all modern amenities, but its charm is irresistible was nice.

Had perfect stay with 2 more nights. The location was exceptionally nice and top in the colourful area. Easily reached Julian Serrano Tapas, located at a walking distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there. One of the advantages - a nice size and airy rooms; they included shower facilities and bath sheets.
Some of the staff were not very friendly.

We had such an amazing time here! The poolside suite was wonderfully spacious with a cool palapa roof. We especially loved the lazy afternoon vibes at the pool and the fantastic breakfast options including delicious pancakes and fresh fruit. I would return for another stay!

I adored the lush gardens at Na Balam Hotel. The pathway to the beach was easily accessible.
Improved Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel would be great.

The location, Na Balam has the best beach of all isla mujeres, it is very nice to have breakfast in their restaurant.
It is very expensive for what it really offers, it is old and has not been renovated since long. Things like ac and shower do not work properly. Pool water was not clean . Rooms do not have tv, hair dryer, iron, mini fridge or any other service you might expect for that price.

Beautiful location, some staff members were extremely helpful and exceeded expectations
Some staff members were rude at the restaurant demanding tips and walking while in mid conversation. Matresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable

It was just a perfect match for a city holiday in Isla Mujeres with value for money. The bar on the beach served delicious margaritas while I enjoyed the fine ocean view. Make sure to try the grilled snacks at the beach bar.

it is a very nice little hotel on the beach. I would recommend it. Friendly staff, and close to the centre. And the location is just perfect, right on the beach...

Best beach access for families
We loved the accessibility to the beach. It was just steps away from our poolside suite and the shallow waters were perfect for our young adults. The cozy seating area outside our room was a nice touch after a long day in the sun, just sitting there with a cool drink and relaxing after a swim.
It wasn't exactly affordable, but honestly,, the experience was worth every penny.

I liked how the location which is right at north beach and at the entrance of Avalon hotel. Close to main strip for restuarants/night life.
The beds were very uncomfortable, lots of greenery so as comes mosquito's, I was bit all night as they get into room through window/wall cracks. Internet is not true internet, it is only available in the outside lobby where you again will get chewed up by mosquito's and if your luck enough to get internet service, it is very intermittent.

great location and very nice room with pool view, an individual terrace and a hammock; very kind and professional receptionist; beds on the beach; very nice and friendly pool cleaner (we really liked the guy)
Beach restaurant staff (rude and unprofessional); Check out issues (higher price than agreed on Booked.net and some receipts from restaurant for a dinner we have never had) - note that the receptionist helped us to figure this issue out and eventually we were not charged for them.
